We will be open on some weekends in February and March. If you would like to come for a tasting please leave us an email or phone message and we get back to you and try to accomodate you. Please remember that all our wines are in a large number of private liquor stores on the Island. Check the listing under our wine page!

Here you will find a refreshing look at modern farming practices, the wine industry, and a selection of excellent wines. Because we are strictly a fruit winery and meadery you may find that we are missing some of the pomp and snob that sometimes is associated with the industry. I apologize if you came here in search of a European experience or a wine label that states when to drink it or what it must be paired with. That’s simply not us. At Coastal Black we have an overwhelming passion for wine that can be enjoyed by any and all people whenever the mood should strike you. Our thoughts are that the very best thing any wine can be paired with, is another person with whom conversation flows freely. We are a family owned and operated winery and we run our business with the same values that we run our homes, with honesty and integrity. Please come  by for a visit as we would love to get to know you and see how you enjoy our wines. Just remember to take your shoes off at the door.
